We do not turn anyone down for care because of the possibility that they will not be able to pay their bills. If you are concerned about your ability to pay for care, please speak confidentially with an HCM patient financial advocate in the business office at (830) 997-1260. You may qualify for financial support.

At HCM, we have many ways we provide you with remarkable care. For example, we have implemented an electronic bedside medication verification system to ensure that you receive the right medication at the right time and that your prescriptions do not conflict with any allergies or concurrent medicines that you're taking. This advancement supports your physician's expertise, as well as a team of highly trained health care professionals who are caring for you.

You may notice Auxilians serving you when you are here—hospital volunteers who serve patients in a variety of helpful ways. From welcoming visitors to the hospital, to ensuring family members are served in waiting rooms and more, Auxilians play an integral role in fulfilling the HCM mission of providing remarkable care.
