For the fourth consecutive year, Hill Country Memorial has been recognized by Women’s Choice Award as an America’s Best Hospital for Obstetrics.
The Women’s Choice Awards identify the best hospitals nationwide that are women-friendly and align with women’s health care needs and preferences. These evidence-based awards reflect HCM’s exceptional clinical performance and women’s preferences when choosing health care providers for themselves and their families.
“The Women’s Choice awards show our team’s and the hospital’s commitment to the community,” said Erin Huff, RN, HCM Director of Obstetrics. “Maternal and newborn care is a calling for our staff and team members, and we dedicate ourselves to taking exceptional care of mothers and babies.”
The America’s Best Hospitals for Obstetrics award is the only national list that focuses on female patient satisfaction, clinical excellence, and what women say they want from a hospital. Scores were derived from data reported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) surveys.
Hill Country Memorial was one of 350 hospitals in the nation recognized as an America’s Best Hospital for Obstetrics.
The America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience distinction is the only national list that focuses on female patient satisfaction and recommendation scores. The 100 best scores in each of the four bed-size categories determine the America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience award winners. Hill Country Memorial was recognized in the category for hospitals with 100 beds or fewer.
“At the Women’s Choice Award, we’ve identified America’s Best Hospitals across the nation to help women make smart health care choices for themselves and their family members,” said Delia Passi, CEO and Founder of the Women’s Choice Award. “It is critical for women to know those hospitals that have demonstrated the highest level of quality care to their patients, with a special focus on the female experience,” she said.
