Medicare Quality Program Performance

Value Based Purchasing is a program implemented by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a part of the Affordable Care Act. It seeks to rank and reward or penalize hospitals based on quality healthcare performance. Each hospital is ranked based on Processes of Care, Outcomes of Care, Patient Experience of Care, and Efficiency of Care. HCM is committed to quality improvement, and is continually using these measures to achieve the highest standard of patient care possible.

True to HCM’s core value of accountability HCM supports full transparency in reporting quality and performance measures. We believe our patients and community should have easy access to outcomes in order to make fully informed decisions about their health care options.
