As an organization that empowers people to create healthy in their lives, Hill Country Memorial offers the following free support groups for the community.
The Cardiac Support Group meets the first Thursday of every month in the Learning Center (first floor of the hospital). The group is open to anyone in the community interested in maintaining heart health. A light, heart-healthy lunch is provided. The meeting and lunch are free, though donations are accepted to help cover the cost of food. Call (830) 997-1358 for more information.

The Alzheimer's & Dementia Support Group meets the second Tuesday of every month in the second-floor conference room of the Brune Building. The group is led by social worker Serenity Drum and is open to anyone with Alzheimer’s or dementia, their families and caregivers. Call (830) 997-1335 for more information.

The Connect Support Group meets on the second Thursday of each month Women’s Pavilion Classroom. Led by HCM Rehab Center occupational therapists, Connect is for stroke survivors, those with mobility issues, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, ALS and other neurological conditions, their families and caregivers.
