Summertime isn’t meant for screen time. It’s meant for staying active and having fun! The HCM Wellness Center’s Fit Kid Camps have your whole summer taken care of. Each week brings a new activity or sport—all designed to keep kids moving, interacting and playing.

Summer Camp Guidelines

Week 1: Football/Cheer
June 4 - June 8

Football camp is a basic level camp to learn how to catch, throw, pass, run and much more.

Cheer camp will touch on basic movements, cheers and chants.

Week 2: Basketball
June 11 - June 15

Basketball camp is a basic level camp to learn how to catch, throw, pass, run and much more.

Week 3: Soccer
June 18 - June 22

Soccer camp is a basic level camp to to learn how to kick, pass, dribble, and much more.

Week 4: Baseball/Softball
June 25 - June 29

Baseball/Softball camp is a basic level camp to learn how to catch, throw, hit and much more.

Week 5: Golf
July 2 - July 6 (no camp on July 4)

Golf camp is a basic level camp to learn how to putt, stroke, and drive a golf ball.

Week 6: Tennis
July 9 - July 13

Tennis camp is a basic level camp to learn forehand, backhand, serve, ball control and much more.

Week 7: Wheels Incorporated
July 16 - July 20

During this week of camp, you are invited to bring your bike, scooter, etc. and ride on a closed/supervised road.

Week 8: Ol' Fashion Fun
July 23 - July 27

This camp is like an Ol' Fashion field day with races, "minute-to-win-it" competitions, kick-ball, and much more.

Week 9: Disc Golf
July 30 - August 3

This camp is a basic level camp to learn forehand, backhand, hand/eye coordination with a flying disc.

Week 10: Fishing
August 6 - August 10

This week you will learn how to cast and fish.

  • On Tuesdays in June and July we will participate in the FBG Law Enforcement Summer Youth Program and afternoon swim - transportation fee required.

  • On Wednesdays in June and July we will participate in the Pioneer Memorial Library Reading Club Program and afternoon swim - transportation fee required.
